What Each Price Buys

Both companies sell the same unit: one job, visible for about a month. That makes the comparison unusually clean, because you are not weighing a subscription against an auction.

One standard 30-day post on ConstructionJobs.com is $325, and a featured one is $375. One local job slot with us is $40 a month and one per diem slot is $80.

There is a difference in shape as well as price. Their post runs 30 days and then ends. Our slot is a subscription: when a job is filled you close it and post a different one in the same slot, as often as you like, for the same monthly price.

The premium covers things we do not sell: job wrapping that pulls openings straight out of your own applicant tracking system, banner advertising, featured employer branding, and reach into the design side of a project. Worth paying for if your hiring goes past the crew. If it does not, $325 is $285 more for a post that expires.

Where We Have the Edge

Per diem work, and a person doing the looking.

We are built for both halves of construction hiring. A local opening and a travel job are different problems, and they live in the same place here. The daily per diem rate is a field on the post and it appears on the listing, because for a traveling tradesperson that is the number that decides whether the job is worth taking. It does not sit buried in the description where nobody can search or sort by it.

The larger difference is that somebody here works your job. On ConstructionJobs.com you buy a post and wait, and resume search comes only with an unlimited or custom plan priced by quote. Our Employment Specialists actively source against your opening through trade schools, talent banks, social channels and our own data, and then they pick up the phone. You are not buying a search box and doing the work yourself.

That is the case for adding us rather than replacing them. They reach the design and back-office side of a project, which we do not, and that breadth is worth paying for. If the job is an electrician, a welder or a pipefitter, and some of them travel, this is the side of the market we built the product for.

Common Questions

Including the answers that do not flatter us.

How much does ConstructionJobs.com cost?

One standard 30-day job post is $325 and one featured post is $375. Two interchangeable slots for 30 days are $520. Those were the prices on their own pricing page in September 2026.

Is SkilledTrades.com cheaper?

Yes, by a wide margin. A local job slot is $40 a month against their $325 post, and ours refills as often as you need while theirs expires after 30 days.

What do they offer that you do not?

A construction board that has run since 2000, 16,649 companies on the platform, and coverage of the design and back-office side of a project: architects, designers, civil and structural engineers, estimators and accounting roles. They also sell job wrapping, which pulls your openings out of your own applicant tracking system automatically, plus banner advertising and featured employer branding. If your hiring is not only trades, that breadth is real.

Do they support per diem?

We could not verify a structured per diem field. Their posting form sits behind an employer login, so we will not claim one does not exist, but it is not documented on their employer pages. On SkilledTrades.com the daily rate is a field on the post and it appears on the listing.

Can I search resumes on ConstructionJobs.com?

Not on any of the listed packages. Every published package shows zero job seeker profile views, and their resume search page says it is available only with an unlimited or custom plan, which is priced by quote. We do not sell resume search either. Our Employment Specialists do the searching and bring candidates to your job.

Which one covers more of construction?

They do. ConstructionJobs.com reports 170,761 job seekers across construction, design/build and engineering, which reaches the architects, designers and estimators around a project. Our 32 job titles cover the people who build the job: the trades themselves, plus electrical and mechanical engineers, project managers, superintendents, QA/QC and safety. We do not carry the design or back-office roles, so our audience is narrower by design.

How long does a job post stay up?

Theirs runs 30 days and then ends. Ours is a monthly slot, so the job stays live while you pay for the slot, and when you fill it you can close it and post another in its place at no extra cost.
